I have been avoiding this post because I get sad when I think about it. I had a work trip in Denver at the end of January so I thought it would be super fun to bring Wade and the boys so I wouldn't have to ditch them for another week, I had already been in Orlando for a week and I didn't want to leave them again. Wade's sister Jenny and her family live there and I thought it would be fun to spend some time with them as well. And we did have fun BUT we( Wade, but i don't want him to feel bad, ha) lost our camera and so all of our fun memories are now just that, memories. I was so excited to finally be doing something fun, Grayson had never been on a plane before and we were in a new place, and now all of those pictures are out there and I will never get to see them, it makes me sad, but luckily Jenny took some pictures of the fun things they did with us, so i can steal some of her pictures for the sake of remembering our first trip ever to Colorado.

The first night we arrived we were able to go to dinner with the Webb's who had recently moved to the Denver area, it was good to see them briefly and freeze as we walked the streets, then
I had to work at a trade show the next day, so Wade's sister and her husband Corey met Wade and the boys at the indoor aquarium, the boys enjoyed it!
The following day we were able to head out of Denver and visit with close friends that also live in the area, the Lyon's. We had a fun day with them and then got a babysitter for the kids and went to a nice dinner. We then headed to spend the weekend with Wade's sister and her family. The kids don't get to see cousins Lena and Josh very often, so they were very excited.

This is the exact spot Wade lost the camera. This is a National Park called "Garden of the Gods" it reminded me a lot of Zions National Park. We did some exploring there and then took the kids to an indoor fun zone and did some bowling.

Bennett, Lena, and Josh holding up the rock!

I wouldn't normally post a picture of the back of me bowling, but it is all I got! I think that was a strike.

Grayson loved rolling the ball 1 mph down the lane!

Bennett was particularly good too, and looked cute in the shoes.

The kids really had a blast and I'm so glad they were able to get to know their cousins a little better, we will have to go back again, but maybe in the Summer when it is warmer!
Now I need to go buy a new camera....
