Beach Day

We spent another fun day at the beach with cousins. We all got buried in the sand, it was fun. The weather was great and the water was warm. We love the beach!!!

(other than the fact that it is such a hassle to get all the kids and our stuff to and from the car)

Potty Training- Day 6

So I thought I would give you all a recap on my joys of potty training. All in all it has been a success. Let's just say we have gone to the Orange County Fair and the mall without any accidents, which makes me so happy. BUT we have had a few tinsy little set backs. Bennett is refusing to go #2 on the potty. He went in his underwear one day and then held it for three days, and then finally yesterday we let him go in a diaper just so he wouldn't get more constipated. So, it has not been as cut and dry as I had wanted it to, but overall I am very proud of him. I do need to be more prepared though, today we were in a parking lot (I was feeding Grayson) and Bennett starts panicking that he needed to go potty. I did what I swore I would never do. I pulled his pants off and held him out of the car and he peed right in the parking lot!!! Can you believe that. I hope no one was watching, but what are you supposed to do? I need to always keep a small potty in my car from now on. Or I need to just make my life easier and STAY HOME!!!

Is there anything more cute...

than a baby in a white onsie? I don't think so. I could eat this kid up every time I see him with his chubby legs and the coziness of a tight onsie. Maybe it is just me, but I can't resist! Actually I wish I fit in his crib, look how cozy that crib sheet looks too!

Potty Training- Day 1

I have been avoiding this long enough. Since Bennett turned 3 years old today I decided it was time to buckle down and get the kid in undies. I do have to say a little boys buns in underwear are so cute. He has been fighting me and has not been interested in using the potty up until this point, so I expected to go through ten pairs of underwear today. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised. We started the day off with a bang, no accidents. He wore his cute little blue underwear and was so good to tell me anytime he had to go. We made it through his nap with no signs of pee or poo in his pants. I was so proud. Then dinner time came and we kind of went down hill at that point. He got scared to go #2 and got a litte stressed out. I won't go into details, but we did have a little incident. No big deal, it is day 1 right? I'm super happy with his progress in one day. We will start again tomorrow and see how it goes. I hope to be able to leave the house soon!

1,2,3!!!

Happy Birthday to Bennett. Is my child really 3 years old already? In one sense that is crazy to me, but on the other hand I don't remember life before he came along. It is just amazing to me how much one child can change in three years. Is that even the same kid? We had a small birthday party for him at Chuck E. Cheese, he had a blast. Before we know it he will be going off to school!

Bennett's 3rd Birthday Party

Last but not Least...

So I think that i am officially the last person out of all of my friends to start a blog. Partially because I am lazy, but I think I finally know why...I like to have a clean house. Shocker. For those of you that know me well you know that I can't live with a messy house, which is sort of a joke when you have a small house and when you have kids. I seem to spend all of my free time picking up my house. I feel like I do it all day long. So if there is ever a time when both of my boys are asleep (which we all know is too good to be true) I usually will do a quick sweep of the house and then I can enjoy some down time by watching tv, getting on the computer, or reading (in that order!!!). And that I can now say is why I have not taken the time to do a blog. BUT I have now decided that instead of cleaning my house five times a day I think I will try living on the edge and doing it once a day when the boys are both in bed, or I might even be crazy and not do it everyday. What is the point of cleaning when I am going to turn around to another mess anyways...so I hope you enjoy reading about what we are up to. I have to apologize now, I may fizzle out of this after a while. I am more of a picture person, but you can always check out the link I have for Louish kids to see all of our recent pictures, enjoy!
