Mallrats
So I am kind of embarrassed to admit it, but my boys and I were at the mall yesterday for 7 hours. Um, yes you read that right, 7 hours. That is like a full day at work. We started out going for Bennett to get his hair cut and one thing led to another and then it was 4:30. I met Wendy there first and Bennett and Tess played after he got his hair cut, then I met some friends from my ward for lunch to plan a baby shower, then Adrienne showed up and we let Kate and Bennett play on the mat and then in the play area. I have to admit I was trying to stay out of the heat and I figured I might as well sit in the cool air conditioned mall instead of my hot house. I probably would have stayed longer, but I was going to have to nurse Grayson for the third time and that is where I had to draw the line. As Bennett's doctor has advised me I need to do things that are a positive experience and that was a positive experience for us all, so maybe I will have to do it again next week!!!

oh my goodness, that is so long at the mall! wow. sounds like a fun day, though. you have so many friends, i can't even keep up!

I was wondering what the "LL" was from a comment last week. I get it now that I've seen the mall post. I haven't graced it yet. As soon as Cate is back in school, I'm in! 19 days...
Yes, the mall, when your kids are being good, is so much fun! And it also helps when you change up your kids playdate every two hours! They should have built the LL a little bigger--it is a traffic jam in there. But the mall was fun, and as long as it stays this hot, I might be there at least once a week.
