UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
WE SPENT TODAY AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS...RANDOM, I KNOW. HERE IS WHY: WADE IS AN AM 570 LISTENER, HE IS RELIGIOUS ABOUT IT. I THINK HE LISTENS TO THAT RADIO STATION MORE THAN HE ACTUALLY WORKS, ANYWAYS HE HAS A HISTORY OF WINNING SOME PRETTY GOOD PRIZES FROM THE STATION (CLIPPERS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN A LIMO FOR EXAMPLE), ANYWAYS WADE ENDED UP GETTING 8 FREE TICKETS TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FOR TODAY AND WE THOUGHT, WHY NOT GO AND HAVE A FUN DAY. WELL, I WISH THAT IS WHAT I CAN SAY WE HAD, BUT IT DIDN'T QUITE TURN OUT THAT WAY. FIRST OF ALL, THE RADIO STATION CALLED THE OTHER DAY TO TELL US THAT WE HAD TO BE THERE AND CHECKED IN BY 8 AM. WOW, THAT WAS EARLY, WE HAD TO WAKE THE BOYS UP AT 6 AM. THEN BENNETT WASN'T FEELING GOOD AND ENDED UP GETTING SICK AND SPENDING A LOT OF THE TIME IN THE BATHROOM AND THROWING UP. THEN WE FINISHED IT ALL OFF BY SITTING ON THE FREEWAY FOREVER TO GET HOME. OTHER THAN THOSE FEW GLITCHES (BIG ONES!) IT WAS SORT OF FUN. MY SISTER MONICA AND HER KIDS CAME AND HER KIDS ARE A LITTLE OLDER, SO AT LEAST SOME OF US ENJOYED OURSELVES. I'M GLAD TO BE HOME THOUGH..............
THE RADIO STATION HAD A REALLY FESTIVE ROOM SET UP WITH A BREAKFAST AND FACE PAINTING AND OTHER THINGS BEFORE WE WENT INTO THE PARK, IT WAS SO EARLY AND FREEZING.
PAYTON GOT HER FACE PAINTED, THE KIDS WERE ALL LOOKING SO CUTE.
THE TOUR WAS PRETTY INTERESTING ACTUALLY...THIS IS WISTERIA LANE (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES)
I WAS INTERVIEWED FOR ACCESS HOLLYWOOD...NOT REALLY!
BENNETT WAS SO SCARED OF SHREK FOR SOME REASON, HE LOVES THE MOVIES.
AT LEAST I HAD ONE HAPPY BOY FOR THE DAY. A GROUP OF TOURISTS SAT AND WATCHED HIM AND ACTUALLY TOOK OUT THEIR CAMERAS TO TAKE PICS OF HIM, FUNNY HUH?

How could they not take pics of him with those chubby cheeks and such a great big smile? Well, kudos to you for being adventurous....even if it didn't quite pan out.
What a fun day. I love Universal Studios. That is a bummer Bennett got sick. And how cool that Wade is such a lucky fella to win cool prizes. You guys look super cute in your pics.
Too cute! I am sorry you had such a crazy day. If you want to tell Wade important things, perhaps you should just call into the radio station.. that way you can be sure that he actually hears you! But, maybe he should start playing the lottery :)
I don't think I've gone to Universal Studios in about 13 yrs. lucky! Sorry about all the glitches. At least you got some good stories now, eh? Grayson is the cutest little boy. Just look at that face and smile. I love that pic! Way to go, Wade, on all the winning.
I LOVE that picture of Grayson, it's sooo adorable! That totally sucks that Bennett was sick! Hopefully he'll feel better by Tuesday so he can go to preschool. I haven't been to Universal Studios for such a long time, but it looks like a lot of fun!

It actually looks like fun, but sometimes... I wonder why I try to go places with kids. It just takes so much work and there is nothing worse than throwing up kids! (other than when they sit still for a minute!)
great wintery family photo. that's awful that Bennett got sick all day, sounds like a nightmare. looks like you made the best of it. nice job for taking advantage of all the cutout photo ops! that's always a must there! where did you get grayson's camo sweatshirt? does it come in a 4-5?

Danielle- i hope you come back to read this. Yes, we made the best of our day. You will not believe me when i tell you where I got the camo sweatshirt, it was a fine boutique called WALMART!!! I went to find a baby gift and I cruised through the kids section to find my kids some gloves for Utah and I saw that sweatshirt and it was $5.90 and I couldn't pass it up. I'm not sure what size it goes up to if that is even an option anymore!!!

That sounds fun, minus the throwing up and traffic. I can't believe Wade wins stuff. At least it is better than a Debbie Gibson CD. That is what I won off the radio in high school.
OK, I CAN NOT get over those cheeks that Grayson has - he is such a cutie pie!!! I want to dig my nose in his neck till he squeels (that is what I do to Brock).
I always find good boy clothes at sick Wal-Mart for such a great deal! I haven't had much luck with girls clothes, though.
That looks like an adventure. I usually pass on stuff where I have to wake my kids up, but you are such a trooper wife! So sorry Bennett was sick. Throwing up is the quite possibly the worst thing EVER!
