Yearly Gingerbread House

Last night we did our yearly gingerbread building contest with my sister's family and her kids. This is one of those things (like pumpkin carving) where you start out all into it and think it will be fun and after two minutes the kids are over it and it is too much work! But we did have fun.

Team #1- The Dunham's

Team #2- The Decker's
Bennett actually got into it.

The kids showing off their masterpieces.

It was a tie....of course!

Until next year.....

THEN, Wade came downstairs today after "running" upstairs to do something and this is what he found when he came down, 2 little boys up to no good. Pretty hilarious though!

Sara - We all agreed that the judge was really nice this year. We all think you guys won hands down except for the roof. Our roof did look pretty good. Thanks to Mike.. that was his only doing. Thanks for the pix, you gotta love my no makeup, shiny face I had going on lastnight. Thanks for the fun can't wait for the preassembled ones next year. We have to take our title back.

You do such fun things with the boys. My kids have a putts for a mom. Love Grayson's face in the last picture...looks like trouble.

That is hillarious! I love the boys "redecorating" attempt! Grayson is such a crack up in all of those pictures. We need to get our crazies together one of these weekends.

that's so fun, that's something we do every year too! but when the kids are involved, it's not as much fun! how sad is that?

We're doing that this weekend, I'm sure Tyler will end up doing all of it, just like he does the pumpkin:) So fun, I too love the boys getting back into it when no one was looking.

How funny is that. The bots are adorable, even though they killed the house early. I remember doing that as a child. That was the best part. Eating al the candy!! We still havent done that yet! We are pretty behind!
