"My Best Friend Is...

aunt Rara!" This is what Bennett said to me the other night as I was laying him down in his bed. It may have something to do with the fact that Tara looks just like me, or it may have something to do with the way she spoils him. Earlier that day (last Saturday) she picked him up and spent the day being his buddy. She took him to an indoor play place and then back to her house to play and watch movies and eat cookies and popsicles...only to get dragged out by his mother! No one is busier than Tara, but I don't know anyone who gives more of their time to other people. Like she doesn't have better things to do with her precious Saturdays then spend them with my kids, but that is what Bennett loves about her. So anyways, thanks aunt Rara for being my best friend, wanna come over after work and play in our fort?.....love bennett

This is how Bennett spends most of his weekend days in the summer...Tara lives pretty much on the beach, and Bennett loves their adventures searching for creatures and shells and playing in the waves.
All of the kids love going to aunt Tara's house because it is so cool. She let's them break all of the rules, they jump on the bed, eat food on the couch, etc.
If Tara ever has free time she will come over and take a nap with whoever is ready! This is Grayson when he was a little guy, he doesn't have much of a chance to get close to Tara because Bennett won't let her spend any time with him!
